  • Virtual Grounds is a digital media company dedicated to providing strategic consulting and development of emerging technology components for creative projects. We develop exhibit design, digital experiences, and bespoke software with a focus on cultural content.

    VGI has considerable proficiency in the museum industry. Since 2010 we have successfully delivered in-gallery assets and stand-alone digital solutions for cultural and exhibit-based institutions, exhibit designers, city and state historical commissions, museums without walls, historic sites, and universities.

  • Our award-winning approach includes digital experience design, interactive kiosks, immersive media production, web-based and downloadable tours with audio and video components, and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences. VGI also provides technology strategy consulting, tech environment scans, and feasibility studies for clients evaluating emerging technologies.

Jose Kozan

CO-FOUNDER

Jose is an architect with a Master of Science in Architecture, focusing on virtual heritage. He has extensive experience in the digital processes used to recreate vanished heritage for web and mobile experiences. At VGI Jose is the Creative Director and responsible for UI/UX design and integration, software development, digital media production, and augmented reality and mixed reality components in cultural projects.

Iara Beduschi Kozan

CO-FOUNDER

With a background in Architecture and a Master in Information Systems, Iara oversees business development, technology project planning, management and integration, 3D modeling production, and help design, develop and implement digital components for cultural projects. She maintains ongoing research on AR/XR applications and Emerging Technologies trends and evolution.
